Obraz zkoumá tichou a introspektivní atmosféru měsíčního cyklu, kdy je svět v útlumu a vše „spí“. Vznikl jako vizuální reflexe klidu, snění a vnitřního pozorování. Dílo bylo vytvořeno technikou olejomalby s důrazem na vrstvení barev a práci se světlem, aby vizuálně vystihlo tichý a meditativní charakter scény.
